Scroll down to see our newest range of products suitable for younger and older students students. In 2011, our programs will be presented at the International Mosaic Down Syndrome World Conference and also at the Australian Association of Special Educators National Conference.
In response to the requests from teachers, parents, schools and students we have expanded our program range to include plenty of new resources for older students, younger students, students with mild to moderate disabilities and students with moderate to severe disabilities.
Some of our new programs expand our resources for older students, helping them to develop the skills, knowledge, understanding, values and attitudes they need to prepare them for employment, participation and independent living in the community.
Some of our new programs focus on a cross-curriculum model to extensively reinforce the Outcomes & Indicators for Life Skills studies in English, Maths, PDHPE, Work Education or Work & The Community, Visual Arts & Drama.
Some of our new programs expand our reading programs to give both younger and older students a way to experience success in literacy, when progress would otherwise be very, very slow.
All of our new programs:
Follow research based guidelines for best teaching practise for students who have very significant learning delays
Have been developed in-line with guidelines from the NSW Board of Studies
Are directly linked to Life Skills curriculum outcomes and have Indicators to effortlessly track students progress over the years and all build on the foundations covered in all other Precision Academics programs
Provide hundreds of pages of activities and resources to guarantee interest and success
Are suitable for individual, small group or whole class groups and are suitable for black & white photocopying
